President’s Letter    Guest Policy    Board of Directors

July, 2008

Dear Members and Friends of the Forum;

The Pinehurst Forum presents its 2008 – 2009 Season.  Your Board is pleased to present a variety of programs featuring talented performers that we believe will appeal to the wide interests of our membership.

We kick off the season with one of the country’s most acclaimed singer-songwriters, conclude with a visit from the funniest man to ever ride a horse, and enjoy great a-cappella, Broadway, popular classics and jazz in between.

Membership annual dues are $125 per person.  And, for each event attended, The Country Club of North Carolina will separately bill a dinner charge of $37.50 per person all inclusive, plus any beverages charged at the bar.  Memberships are non-transferable; Forum Members will be charged $35 for each guest, in addition to their dinner and beverage charges.  The 2008-2009 Guest Policy is enclosed for your information.  CCNC has a no tipping policy except for parking valet.

Founded in 1939, the Forum, in keeping with nearly 70 years of tradition, requires gentlemen to wear tuxedos and ladies to wear appropriate formal evening attire.

Please return your check and registration card early.  Once again we are limiting membership to 370 and will give a 30 day advance registration privilege to our current members.  Your cancelled check is your confirmation.  Prospective new members who have been referred by current membership will be accepted on a first come basis.

We hope you find the series of interest and will join us this season.

Sincerely,

C. Richard Keener, President
Pinehurst Forum, Inc.
